Best Brew Setlists:

• Espresso (Manual or Machine):

  • Dose: 18g (3 tablespoons) in → yield 36g (1.25 oz) out in ~28 seconds

  • Temp: 200°F

  • Grind: Fine (table salt)

  • Notes: Pack and tamp evenly. This shot hits deep and smoky. Syrupy body with earthy-sweet pull. This shot plays heavy.
    *When you go to knock out the old puck from the porta filter, it comes out solid and water was evenly distributed, you know you pulled a great shot!

• Cold Brew:

  • Dose: 100g (about 16–17 tablespoons / 1 cup) coffee

  • Water: 1 liter (34 oz) cold, filtered water

  • Grind: Coarse

  • Steep: Combine and steep 12–16 hours (or longer!) in the fridge. Strain and store. 

  • Notes: Smooth and bold with a haunting sweetness. Serve over ice or as a concentrate. Serve over ice or cut 1:1 with water/milk.

• Drip Machine:

  • Dose: 2 tablespoons per 6 oz of water (~20g:360ml)
    

  • Water Temp: 200°F

  • Grind: Medium

  • Notes: Deep and smoky—perfect for brewing on autopilot when your brain’s still booting.
